El documental nos repasa desde los pioneros de los sintetizadores (Wendy Carlos, John Foxx), los padres del movimientos (Kraftwerk), la primera hornada de bandas británicas de entre décadas (OMD, The Human League, Heaven 17, Ultravox) y los auténticos supervivientes y máximas estrellas del género (New Order, Depeche Mode y Pet Shop Boys).

Son 22 pistas y no sólo hay doble CD, sino que doble DVD, SACD multicanal y para los más puristas, la caja de 4 vinilos.
